(1)Even if the user accepts the download he or she will not be infected. The user must download and run the files they received....So if u see the file have suspicious name like name%.exe, photo.com.exe and etc. Just scan it using u antivirus before opening it.
(2)if u lazy to scan everytime receive a file.....then open u msn messenger,open Tools>Options>File Transfer, then tick the box [ ] beside *Scan files for viruses using* , then Browse for u antivirus installation path, then press ok.
(3)The antivirus i using now is BitDefender Free Edition,this is because this antivirus #1 ranked anti-virus software and the winner of "TopTenReviews Gold Award2007". Although this free edition does not offer real time scanning, but it has all the features in other BitDefender products, such as ICSA 2007 Certified , VB100% 2007 Certified , W.C.L Level 1 Certified , W.C.L Level 2 Certified , hourly updates , Heuristic Scanning and Script Blocking.
(4)The solution for this free edition disadvantage is to setting your download manager to scan every downloaded file using BitDefender Free Edition.
